Hello everyone!
I am not sure about the translation of this sentence, in your opinion which of the two is more correct?

1.Some colored t-shirts with areas of lighter color along with their ready-to-dye fabric were brought to the laboratory with the purpose to investigate the cause of color difference.
2. Colored t-shirts with areas of lighter color are delivered to the laboratory that is asked to verify the reason for the color difference. The ready-to-dye fabric of which the t-shirts are made is also delivered.

Thanks for your help!

    Qual è il tuo dubbio?
I just want to know if they both make sense.

    Grazie

    Personalmente tradurrei cosi:
"Some dyed T-shirts with lighter coloured zones are sent to a laboratory to determine the cause of the difference in colour. A sample of fabric from the same batch used to sew the T-shirts is also provided, ready for dyeing."

    Bye,
