Is the use of "/" in the following sentence correct grammatically and conceptually? If it is not , kindly suggest ways to make it clearer.

The viscous/turbulent entropy generation at the tip section of the VTB seems to give an advantageous effect of increasing the energy efficiency at high flow coefficients.

If, in this context (which I know nothing about) 'viscous' and 'turbulent' are (almost) synonyms (which they are not in other contexts), then the slash could be correct.

If they are not synonymous, then 'viscous or turbulent entropy generation' would probably be better.
