Voglio continuare a sognare

I have a poem and I have that annoying situation where I understand the words but not the whole meaning... Just the last sentence in this case but here is the whole verse anyway:

Per ora cerchero' di non svegliarmi
Voglio continuare a sognare
Per chi l'amor vuole darmi
Per quel cuore che ama e fara' amare.

    I wanto to go on dreaming
    for those who want to give me some love
    for the heart that's loving me and will make me love.

    gramo= scarso, insufficiente, misero= poor, scanty
    gramo frutto = misero frutto = poor fruit (something like 'poor meal' but I need more context)

    sfiancare = far stancare eccessivamente (this is one of the possibilities) and you can translate that with

    to wear out, to exhaust, to knock out, to override, depending on the context:

    * to override a horse = sfiancare un cavallo
    * this long climb has knocked me out = questa lunga arrampicata mi ha sfiancato
     
    yes that makes a lot of sense, the words in context are

    Perche' mangiare questo gramo frutto? (measly meal perhaps then?)
    Il mio sogno ha cominciato a mutare.
    and ...

    L'amore a volte sfianca - At times love is exhausting...?

    For that heart that loves and will let love, I guess that's more accurate... but if there's a better translation, please tell me.
     
    So..still the same poem, what about the following:

    Fasciato, coperto, intriso,
    Coperto di felicita' amore

    and...

    Che dal mare blu o furios lambita
    Che fa sorridere con felicita' dispersa

    then...

    ogni tanto, il mio cuore s'accascia

    Then finally the last two phrases particularly here...

    Uno sguardo, un sogno ricorrente
    Un'immagine d'amore,
    Tutto puo' fare la mente
    tutto sente il cuore
