voisinage

Bonjour!

I am confused about the meaning of the sentence below:

Ok..it means her poetry lacks the minimal necessities of the genre satire??? I am especially confused by the word voisinage. Is it proximity? But in what sense?

Au secours!

Here it's the voisinage/proximity of a given text with the rest of her poetry.
(I suppose the text is very different from her other works, hence the strangeness of both being written by the same person, the strangeness of the text 'proximity' with the rest)

Now I guess that it is the text that lacks the minimal necessities of the genre satire, and not the rest of the poetry pieces, but I'm not totally sure. That sentence is quite messy.
