was jolted off / was bounced off

There was a haning ornament on my car's rear view mirror like this picture. When my car bumped over a stone very hard, the hanging ornament was jolted off the mirror and fell on the floor. (I wrote the above sentence)

1. The hanging ornament was jolted off the mirror.
2. The hanging ornament was bounced off the mirror.

I think both #1 and #2 are correct.

Am I correct? Thank you.

    Without adding ...and fell to the floor, 'off' here could mean rebounded when it hit the mirror.
    Better is, "The hanging ornament was knocked to the floor.
