I'm really confused with the usage of 'was meant to' and 'meant to'
I thought 'meant. to' means that you intended to but didn't achieve it in the end whereas 'was meant to 'has the meaning of 'because of fate or destiny, I was supposed to..
but just now when I looked 'was meant to' up in the dictionary , it says in there that 'was meant to' also has the meaning of 'intended to'?
