This product ,Kores premium glue sticks is said to be "water-solvent, acid free & non-toxic making it safe for kids." What does "water solvent" mean here? dissolves in water?

If you expose it to water, it dissolves. It's easy to remove from places it shouldn't have been put.

I believe "water-solvent" means that water (as a solvent) is part of the composition of the glue.

Substances can be water-soluble without being water-solvent. Salt and sugar are soluble in water, but in their pure form do not contain water.
