we cannot bring our riches to our grave

A non-native speaker said that 'we cannot bring our riches to our grave.' Does it sound natural in English? I think it is more correct to use 'take' in that sentence. Even so, I don't think it would sound idiomatic.

"Take" sounds a little more ordinary, epistolario. "Bring" doesn't annoy me, however.

I prefer "graves" after "we" because I assume that we don't all share the same grave.
