we welcome you to our house

I think these can be greetings:
They welcome him to their house.
They welcome me to their house.

But that we welcome you to our house is a greeting sound strange to me.
When you come to the door of our house, we would say "Welcome. Come in please".
Does "we welcome you to our house" sound natural to you??

There is nothing with saying "we welcome you to our house".

"We" means a group of people or a family which the house belongs to.

"We welcome you to our house" is acceptable, but it would be a little too formal for most people.

We are more likely to say "Welcome. Come in please," or "Welcome. Come in." :)
