A singer is going to sing with her daughters on the 10th anniversary of her Opry(of which popular country music singers are members) induction.

One of her daughters asks: Do we have a dressing room?

Singer: Of course you have a dressing room! (Then they come to a room)

Singer: Welcome into the circle. This is the dressing room everybody uses when they make their Opry Debut. I got to do it. Now y'all do.

What is the definition for "circle" here? What is it referring to?

Thanks for your help.

"Circle" is often used to refer to a group of people with a shared interest. I think it has that meaning here but there could be some other explanation. It is unlikely, but not impossible, that it refers to a circular room.
