Welcome to the paradise

Hi,
I would like to say Welcome to a particular place (where I am at the moment) that I think it's splendid. In my way just like the paradise.
THe question is: is it correct to use "to the"? Would "Into" be better? Are there other way to express that concept?

thanks a million.

"The" is wrong; "into" wouldn't work either.

    "Welcome to paradise" is fine:)

Interesting question! The answer is, I suppose, that Paradise is seen as a proper name, like London: welcome to London, welcome to Paradise.

so I argue the same thing for other word like 'fate'?
I'm wise up to (the) fate? (apart the hidden meaning)

    thanks
