Hello Teachers,
Greetings!
I know that we use "to" with "welcome" when we welcome somebody to a place, but what preposition should we use if it's an event, not a place? I guess we still use "to".
Examples:
1.Welcome to the PTM (Parent-Teacher Meeting)
2. Welcome to the party
3. Welcome to the oath-taking/coronation ceremony
I think they are all correct, aren't they?
Thanks a lot.
