Is it wrong to translate "welcome" as
"ahlan wasahlan" اهلان واسحلان in arabic ? or is it more correct to translate it to"marhaba" مرحب

    Arabic (Egypt).
Welcome can be translated both as أهلاً وسهلاً and مرحبًا
So, ahlan wa sahlan bika ma3ana :)

Would you please read the forum rules ? You're supposed to give your threads (question) informative titles, not just "translation", and you better search for the answer first, to avoid redundancy. This question was discussed before, here.

    Welcome again :)

You can translate welcome by: marhab (مرحبا) , ahlan (أهلا) and ahlan wa sahlan (أهلا وسهلا) .The three are right.
so : أهلا وسهلا بك في المنتدى
