How would I talk about someone who is well-rounded. I'm trying to talk about masculinity and femininity and want to talk about someone who is a little of both (but not in a trans-gender or homoesexual way, only in diversity). How can I describe this trait?

'Well-balanced' literally translates as 'bien equilibriado'. From what I see in my dictionary, it would serve for 'well-rounded', too. But our hispanohablante amigos may have better suggestions.

I would go for "equilibrado" (probably without bien), as careful and sensible don't fit in this particular context.
But Eddie's right and some times you can use ecuánime, prudente and sensato as synonyms of equilibrado.
