Bonjour,

Comment traduire l'expression "Well low and behold" dans la phrase :

"Well low and behold, yesterday, I went to the local Whole Foods Market, you know, the one to which PETA gave the Best Animal-Friendly Retailer award, and I picked up a copy of the Whole Foods magazine, “Whole Deal.” "

"? , hier, je suis allé au Whole Foods Market local, vous savez, celui auquel PETA a décerné le prix du Best Animal-Friendly Retailer, et j’ai pris un exemplaire de « Whole Deal », le magazine de Whole Foods."

Merci !

"Well low and behold" is an exclamation of astonishment. It's spelled wrong here—"low" should be "lo"—but I can't be too heavy on the author as this is no longer a very common phrase. Smacks of the bible. "Sacrebleu!" comes to mind.
