Is the phrase "What ARE the information required for..." acceptable, if we know that there are many different information required? Or should we stick on with "What IS the information required for..." or "What information IS required for..."?

Thanks!

    Welcome to the forum! :)

The word information is always singular (and uncountable), so we always use is with it. The plural wording would be pieces of information or facts.

Yes "information" is uncountable and I would say "What is the information required for" as the correct way to say it.
