what comes to mind for you on this subject

I'm looking for one single preposition here:

What comes to mind for you __ Russia?

It should mean "when you are reminded of/when you hear the word "Russia"".

It's something I often try to say. Would it be clearer another way? Perhaps extending it to "... when you hear the word "XY"" or "... about the word "XY""?

"What comes to mind when you hear the word Russia?" would be one of the most idiomatic ways to say it, I think. That's a common way to ask what folks immediately associate with a word without thinking about it.

Right, or "What pops into your mind when...?"
