What / where is the venue

    "Where" sounds likely to me, lingkky. I wouldn't use "what" unless I didn't know what "venue of the competition" meant. Here's how I would probably ask the question in natural speech: Where will the competition take place? Or: Where are they having this competition? "Venue of the competition" isn't a phrase that would occur naturally in my speech.
