In England we refer to Sod's Law, which goes: If something can go wrong it will. In the USA they have a similar saying, called Murphy's Law: Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong. Both statements have the same pessimistic meaning. Is there a French, or at least Québécois, equivalent of this?
