Hi!

I thank you for telling me the significance of the word "Compehensive", I have found the word in a technical report. Below I've written the sentence.

"Compehensive literature reviews of these techniques and other techniques related to face interpretation can be found in this book."

Thanks in advance.

    Hello david and welcome :)

If you look at WR dictionary you will find the following definitions

    comprehensive
    A adjective
    1 comprehensive
being the most comprehensive of its class; "an unabridged dictionary"

    2 comprehensive
including all or everything; "comprehensive coverage"; "a comprehensive history of the revolution"; "a comprehensive survey"; "a comprehensive education"

    3 comprehensive
broad in scope; "a comprehensive survey of world affairs"

    Does this help?

Hi there! Comprehensive means: complete, including all, or almost all, the items, details, facts, information, etc., that may be concerned.

Ex: They offer a comprehensive trainingin in all aspects of the business. or He has written a fully comprehensive guide to Brazil.

But Be careful with the verb "to comprehend" To comprehend has similar meaning to "to understand something fully"

I hope this might help you.

    Good luck!

    Eddie

    Thanks to both,

I suppose you are right; but why is it written without "r" (Compehensive instead of Comprehensive)?

    Well, thanks another time.
