Hello everybody

I'm at work and right now, my friend is watching a soccer match on TV. 60 minutes passed and the match has not ended. I called my friend and said:

What's the result of the match?

Is this sentence idiomatic in English?
If it's not , what would a native speaker say?

Thank you in advance.

You'd know the result for sure only when the match ended, even if it's heavily one-sided.

If the match isn't over: What's the score? What's going on? Who's ahead?

If it's over: Who won? :)
