1)A is a college/university student.
2)I don't know the name of her university.

Can I simply ask:

What's your university/college?

To mean:

What's the name of your college/university?

Thanks a lot

Will the original question cause any misunderstanding?

I'd ask, "Where do you go to school?" Or, "Where do you go to college?"
