I was at some mall and my dad needed some information which we were not getting so I asked one of the guy, Where should I ask?
He said, Go and ask the security, they can guide you.
My question is did I use right sentence, because this sentence stutter out of my mouth?
Learning English is not easy. I make a lot of mistakes while speaking.

It's fine. You're looking for a location that has a person who can tell you. So location is more important than person here. But it wouldn't have been wrong to ask whom or who (maybe "who" for a mall). :)
