Which preposition goes with jealous?

    I agree with Miss Julie about "of" vs "from", dumbfounded.

    But can we back up a bit - what do you want your sentence to mean?

    Do you want it to mean "He thinks I have a nice smile and he would like to have a smile like mine"? Or do you want it to mean something different?

    Your friend said "You've got a bad smile"?

    What did he mean by that? Did he mean "You have a very attractive smile"? If so, then "jealous of..." works:).
