Field and topic: I need to know how to say white blood cells in Spanish.
Sample sentence: T Cells - (T Lymphocytes). A thymus-derived white blood cell that participates in a variety of cell-mediated immune reactions. Three fundamentally different types of T cells are recognized: helper, killer and suppressor (each has many subdivisions).

You can also say "leucos" for short (provided you are in a medical environment).
