why after comma , taking , verb + ing has been used?

    The comma before "taking" should not be there. The part "with an....cut" is a single phrase. Putting a comma in the middle confuses that.

    "She received only about Rs.75,000, with an autorickshaw driver who served as a middleman taking a 50 per cent cut."

    If I wanted to make the sentence clearer I would add parentheses:

    "She received only about Rs.75,000, with an autorickshaw driver (who served as a middleman) taking a 50 per cent cut."
