... why would Britain be addressed

Guys~ I need some help!

Up untill now, I have no clue about why would Britain be addressed as "Great Britain" rather than just "britain"

Is this sentence grammatically perfect? if it is not, please help me fix it. Thanks.

    As far as be is concerned I would suggest:
    ...why Britain would be...
    You say "Great Britain" (no article). Also, pay attention to capitalization and punctuation.
