Because there was always much love in the family, I grew up with an incredible security blanket.

HI,
What does "an security blanket" in the above refer to? Thanks.

It's being used figuratively. The author's family was so loving that he grew up feeling as though he always had a security blanket, i.e. he grew up feeling very secure.

    Thanks, Elroy.
To make sure, how should I interpret "with" in the base sentence? Is it "along with" or "wrapped in?"
