With tears in our eyes we will say goodbye

I would like to say to someone who has been with us and now must leave, "With tears in our eyes we will say goodbye; God be with you. Remember us in you prayers."

How does this sound?

Colle lacrime nei occhi, diremo arrivederci; addio. Noi ricordarsi nelle tue preghiere.

SN :)

Excellent try Scopa Nuova! Just few corrections are needed:

Con le lacrime agli occhi, ti diremo addio (better than "arrivederci" if you don't think you will ever see this person again"); Dio sia con te. Ricordati di noi nelle tue preghiere

Ciao EUNick and welcome to the Forum,

Thank you very much for you corrections. One question. Since this person is a priest, out of respect I feel I should use the Lei form of the verbs. Would this change anything?

    Thank you SN!
    Yes you should say:

Con le lacrime agli occhi, le diremo addio; Dio sia con lei. Si ricordi di noi nelle sue preghiere
