Are these sentences correct:
1-Without your help, they would have killed me.
2-Without the love of his family, what happened to him would have destroyed him.
The first one sounds wrong to me. It seems as if "you" helped "them" and not "me". I would not used the second one either, but it sounds better.
I am not sure though!
