work at a job

"What kind of job are you working at"

Is this a natural way to ask about job?

Is the preposition "at" correctly used ?

Though I think that you probably can say 'to work at a job' I don't think that your question is natural. What sort of an answer are you trying to elicit in asking it? Are you simply trying to ask 'What's your job?'.
