English to Spanish work out

Dictionary entry: work out
< Previous | Next >

"work out" also means "go well/turn out well" or in the negative "not go well". For example, "I've started volunteering on Wednesday to see if I like it. If it doesn't work out it isn't a problem, they don't depend on me", or "Anna and I weren't sure we would be able to meet but in the end in worked out and we spent an afternoon together". In Spanish the translation would be "salir bien".
