Which one of these is correct?
- I was worried about them
- I got worried about them
(although slightly uncommon)
We would usually say "I was worried" or "I became worried". "I got worried", although correct, sounds a bit strange - at least to me.

"I was worried about them" means that you were worried about them in the past.
"I got worried about them" would mean the same as "I became worried about them".
