Hi,

Can anyone please tell me whether the below statement is Correct. This is the statement written in the formal mail.

"As I am going to my hometown tomorrow, I would be taking off for that day".
(or)

"As I am going to my hometown tomorrow, I will be taking the day off".

(or)
"As I am going to my hometown tomorrow, I would be taking the day off".

I thought that the third statement seems to be Polite and formal. Please share your thoughts about this.

Thanks in advance

No, it has to be "will be taking" or "am taking," because you're actually doing it. Would here implies you're not going to.
