Would this be okay for a birthday card?

I came up with this phrase.. "Wish you to (always) have the most treasured ones close to you." Does it make sense? I mean 'treasured ones' as 'important people' but I'm not sure if it sounds alright.

Hello Strangeland, and Welcome to the Forum! :)

I think 'treasured ones' sounds okay, if a little unusual, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Let's see what others think. :)

I agree with Beryl's response, and treasured ones implies people who are important and attractive to you.
