Hello

In a test in one excercise my students had to fill in a gap with one or more words. There is often more than one solution.

One of my students filled in to eat in the following excercise:

Would you like ____________________ more meat?

Does this solution make sense?

Thanks

It depends on what the other options were, Tigerduck.

I immediately thought of "would you like some more meat?"

    Hi there,
It makes sense, but it's not the first solution that an English speaker would think of...
It could be asked of someone who eats little meat because, for example,
it isn't available, it's too expensive for him/her, the doctor has prescribed a diet or the person lives far from the shops...
