Hi there, Could you tell me what you'd possibly say to the person sitting behind you when taking a flight or a coach, you are trying to put your seat a little bit backwards so you can feel more comfotable? I come up with the following, please chech them out:
Would you mind if I put my seat a little bit backwards?
Would you mind if I adjust my seat back a bit?
Would you mind if I move my seat backwards a bit?

In the case of a plane seat I would ask:
Would you mind if I leaned my seat back a little?
Would you mind if I leaned my seat back a bit?
Would you mind if I adjusted my seat back a bit?

    Hello,
    I don't like N°1. N° 3 is OK but I personally would use a mixture of N°s 2 and 3:
Would you mind if I move my seat back a bit.
("adjust" is what airline staff used and is rather formal and, also, "adjust back" seems awkward).
