What does "wicker" mean?

Wicker is made of thin, flexible stems of young willow trees. Usually used to weave baskets. Rattan is similar, but made I believe from an asian vine. The advertisement is telling you that the parts you see are made of willow, but the core of the outside circle is rattan.
