My ex-wife wrecked/ruined/destroyed my life.

In this context, Can " wreck" be used in a sense of " ruin", " destroy" someone´s life or something else?

    Those all sound fine. I would only point out that "ruined" makes it sound more permanent than "destroyed", which sounds more permanent than "wrecked."

    "Destroyed" sounds to my ear as if she did it on purpose, i.e., acted with the concrete goal of destroying your life.:eek: With "wrecked" or "ruined," there is still the possibility that she intended no harm, but was just not the right gal for you.:(
