Good morning everyone, I am having trouble translating the following sentences.

ya no falta mucho para el 2.020. It is not long fro 2020

Sólo faltan dos semanas para tu cumpleaños. it´s only two weeks off for your birthday.

Are they ok?

Thanks in advance.

    Hola bowarco:

    It's not long from 2020.
    Not wrong; however, not common.
Better: We're not far from 2020.
Or, It won't be long before it's 2020.
Or, 2020 is not far off.

It's only two weeks until your birthday
Other possibilities way for saying the same thing (here in EEUU) would be,
In only two weeks, it's (it will be) your birthday.
Your birthday is only two weeks away.

I'm sure other people will post other(and perhaps, better) alternatives.

Colloquially: 2020 is just around the corner.

For the second one, I would use Dosamuno's "Your birthday is only two weeks away."

There are various ways to express these ideas, but your translations are not correct.
