Yo diría: As this matter has been brought (del verbo 'to bring') to my attention...
La otra frase me suena bien (hay una errata... desicion -> decision).

(¿Cuál es el contexto? "Delegated" quiere decir que uno ya tiene cierta responsabilidad, obligación, etc. -- como en español, verdad? -- algo que no comunica "brought to my attention"...)

"since I am in charge of this matter, I have resolved that we oppose..."

Sugerencias:

• "...made the decision" suena mucho mejor que "taken the decision" ("tomar la decisión" no se traduce literalmente)

• en lugar de "...file an opposition...": "...file an objection...", posiblemente "...file an injunction..."

• en lugar de "...similarity of this name towards...": "...similarity of this name to..."
