Hi,

I am struggling to compose a sentence in Spanish which is 'You have forgotten to bring the present for the birthday boy'. It is part of a hypothetical situation I am trying to write. Particularly, I often get confused olvidar and traer/llevar.

Here is my attempt:

'Te has olvidado de traer el regalo que compraste para el cumpañero'. Is this correct?

    Te has olvidado de traer el regalo para el cumpleaños del chico.
    Trae se dice cuando el que habla está en el sitio de destino: Mañana trae la cesta a mi casa. / Mañana lleva la cesta a tu casa.
