I have the following sentence:

I know changes are always difficult but you have to see /must see the positive things in life.

I would like to hear your opinion on whether must is stronger in an informal letter or not.

In my opinion must is always stronger, like you must do this has a more absolute connotation than you have to do it. Or would you say it's the same?
