    To be a low-life normally means that you're not a very respectable person, that you have very little value as a person. It's among the many words you could use to degrade a person.

    For example: "You low-life! How dare you try to steal my wallet!"

    Just one additional observation: In English you might joke around with a friend and call him a "low-lfe" (scoundrel/rascal) In Spanish you could use malandrin if you are joking around.

    :warn: Sinvergüenza (without shame/honor)
    can be a pretty serious insult. It would be best to avoid using this word if you are just joking around.
