Hello my friends!

I've got a question: What exactly does Eva mean by "You may want to..." ? Does she want to say something like "I think you should..." ?

Eva: You may want to head home soon. They're closing off the streets for that antiglobalization demostration.
Craig: Another one? What is it with those people? What's the big deal about globalization anyway?

    It's a polite way of suggesting something without sounding like you are telling the other person what to do.
