You've been studying in the university of Pekin for 2 years now

Hi everyone, I'm new here.
I was trying to say something like "You've been studying in the university of Pekin for 2 years now", is this structure correct?
你在北京的大学学了两多年习
Thank you very much.

Hi Laurixu, and welcome to the forum!

Your idea is adequately expressed in your Chinese sentence, but to make it sound a bit more Chinese, I'd change it into the following:
    你在北京大学学习了两年多了.

    Note:
    - 北京的大学 would mean a university in Beijing. University of Beijing is 北京大学 (or 北大 for short)
    - I don't think Chinese people would say "两多年". 两年多 should be the norm.
    - "学习了两年多了": The 2 "le" are used here to express that the study still goes on at the point of speaking.
    - Don't split 学习. It's not the same as 吃饭 or 跑步, which is made up of "V+N".

Edit: Just cross-posting with theflyingchinesetiger :)
