Is there any difference between ''yummy'' and ''delicious''?

    Hi,

Yes, there is. 'Yummy' is more informal whilst 'delicious' tends to be more formal.

    Hope this helps,

"Yummy" is an informal word that might be used by parents talking to their children. "Delicious" is suitable for all kinds of speech and writing.

Thank you both a lot. How about their usage for ''drinks'' and ''food''? Is there any difference?

I'd say that the two words can be used to describe both food and drink. "This [chocolate milk / candy bar] is yummy, Mommy!" / "This [smoothie / sandwich] is delicious!"
